Job description
The Canteen is looking for a line cook to join our small, high-energy back of house team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a respected restaurant with strong systems and traditions in our beautiful town. We would prefer applicants with line experience, but we would be happy to train a highly motivated, communicative, and ambitious person as well.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards
Putting away and organizing daily deliveries (ability to lift 35lbs or more regularly)
Maintaining line cleanliness/sanitation of the kitchen and storage spaces
Giving great service to co-workers and guests alike
